Aegon downgraded by Fitch
Ratings agency Fitch has downgraded Aegon’s long term issuer default rating from A+ to A.
In addition, Fitch has downgraded senior unsecured debt from A- to A and the insurer financial strength ratings of Aegon's primary North American life insurance subsidiaries to 'AA-' from 'AA'
