Brit reports GWP fall after declining business
Brit Insurance has reported gross written premium of £483.5m for the first quarter of 2010 – almost 10% down on last year’s £557.6m after turning its back on "inadequately priced business".
The figure, which is adjusted for constant exchange rates, forms of part of the company's financial reports which also revealed an average premium increase of 1.4% (Q1 2009: 4.6%) and an investment
