Axa Asia Pacific rejects Axa and AMP purchase bid

£5.9bn bid to acquire and split company rejected

Axa's Asian Pacific arm has rejected a joint bid worth A$11bn (£5.9bn) from parent company Axa SA and Australian wealth management firm AMP.

The deal would have seen the business split in two with Axa
