Court of Appeal upholds £4.5m Collett pay-out
The Court of Appeal has confirmed the £4.5m award of damages to injured ex-Manchester United footballer Ben Collett.
The appeal, which was brought by Middlesbrough Football Club, comes after Mr Collett was awarded the damages in August 2008.
Mr Collett’s football career was ended in 2003 following a double fracture
