Sullivan to be paid $35m severance after departing from AIG
Martin Sullivan is to be given a $35m severance package after he stood down as chief executive officer of AIG, according to proxy reports.
According to the letter to the SEC, Sullivan’s termination payments “with good reason” as of end-December 2007 stood at $35.032m.
Sullivan will be replaced by AIG’s former chairman Bob Willumstad
