This year, there has been a host of loss adjuster panel reviews by insurers. Jonathan Swift reports on the different reasons behind insurers' decisions to peg their hopes on particular firms and how they plan to manage these relationships, while others describe how the changing adjusting market has impacted on them.
This year has seen two major insurers - Groupama and Norwich Union -conduct adjusting reviews (see boxes). Both these followed recent mergers,
Lombard and Gan and CGU and Norwich Union respectively
