Spitzer probe reaps more guilty pleas
New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer has obtained more guilty pleas from insurance executives as his year-and-a-half long probe into bid-rigging and price-fixing abuses builds steam.
Three executives from Marsh & McLennan and one from Zurich American Insurance this week pleaded guilty to fraud and restraint of trade charges before New York Supreme Court Judge James Yates.In all
