Katrina: RSA expects £25m hit
Royal & Sun Alliance has estimated £25m of claims resulting from Hurricane Katrina. The company's shares rose slightly on the news to 97.35 pence.
RSA said its provisional estimate was of up to £25m, net of reinsurance recoveries, for claims arising from the recenthurricane in the US. The losses are expected to arise in the group's Marine andOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
