Beazley squeezes out profit

Lloyd's insurer Beazley announced its annual results this morning, with the group managing to retain profitability despite hurricane losses.

According to the group's stock exchange statement today, the highlights were:

The group has achieved a profit of £16.1m; down on 2004's £35.4m Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma combined had a net
