Fortis profits up 22%
Fortis UK has reported 2005 pre-tax profits increasing by 22% to £66.4 million; the figures include over-50s insurer RIAS and affinity provider OutRight.
Fortis Insurance on its own saw pre-tax profits rise by 18% to £58.1m (2004: £49.2 million); its gross written premiums were up overall by four per cent to £596.6 million (2004: £574m).
