Marsh shares rise on bid speculation
Shares of broker Marsh & McLennan have risen more than 5% amid speculation that all or part of the company might be a takeover target.
A report on financial information Web site theflyonthewall.com said a financial unit of General Electric might be a possible bidder, but a sGE pokesman said the company did not comment on rumours.
