Non-execs walk out of MDU in pay row
Three non-executive directors have resigned from the Medical Defence Union in a row over pay. The MDU, which provides indemnity for doctors in the UK and abroad via an insurance-backed scheme confirmed the resignations today.
Mr David Markham FRCS, chairman of the board of the Medical Defence Union, said today:
‘The MDU is grateful for the contributions of Lord Glenarthur, Professor Andrew Chambers and Sir Robin Mountfield
