UK firms set to invest in workers' health to combat duty of care exposures
Ninety two per cent of UK companies said they plan to invest more in the promotion of and support for healthier working practices, a survey revealed today. Health benefits provider HSA's “Who’s Looking After our Health” survey, which was conducted amongst 600 senior HR professionals during July, also found that 80% believed the government would increase the duty of care provisions on employers within the next 5-10 years.
