CSC up for sale, with 4300 jobs to go across Europe
Insurance software specialist Computer Sciences Corporation is set to shed 4300 jobs mainly in Europe, as part of a restructure, which could result in the company being put up for sale. The company announced yesterday that in response to recent expressions of interest, the CSC board of directors has decided to explore strategic alternatives to enhance shareholder value, including a potential sale of the company.
The company has retained Goldman, Sachs as its financial advisor in this process. CSC said that there can be no assurance the exploration of strategic alternatives will result in a transaction, and
