Bright's defence questions £7m ready to register evidence
Defence counsel for Michael Bright today questioned that £7m of claims should have been safely entered onto Independent’s system, and argued that the former boss was sensibly managing the situation, writes Ralph Savage .
Jonathan Barnard for Mr Bright questioned former UK property underwriting manager Stephen Coates over his memo of 7 November 2000, which had pointed out £7m of property claims and £4.5m of liability
