Brit shareholders set to accept new Apollo bid
Brit Insurance shareholders are expected to accept a renewed offer to buy it outright from Apollo Management, after the investment company secured the backing of CVC Partners.
Shares in the Netherlands-domiciled insurer bounced after Brit's board recommended an improved offer of £10.75 a share last Friday. Brit rejected an earlier offer of £10.50 per share in cash in July.
