Fosun and FWD eye Ageas' $1bn Hong Kong operation
Chinese conglomerate Fosun and life insurer FWD are attempting to buy Ageas' Hong Kong arm for around $1bn (£638m) according to reports.
According to sources cited by Bloomberg the Belgian-headquartered insurer has reduced proposed buyers to a shortlist and hopes to conclude a sale in about a month's time.
