Canopius reports record £99m post-tax profit
Canopius has reported a 25% increase in gross written premiums and an improved combined ratio as it ended its 10th year of operation.
The insurer wrote £866m gross written premiums compared with £682m in 2012. It also posted a “record” post tax profit of £99m - an increase on £49m the year before.
The combined ratio improved from 95
