Groupama to replace RSA as First Assist PPI underwriter
FirstAssist is now moving to the final stage of its separation plan by replacing Royal & Sun Alliance as the underwriter of payment protection insurance with its new underwriter, Groupama Insurances. The change of insurer, which will take place by way of an insurance business transfer scheme subject to the approval of the High Court, is planned to take effect from 31st May 2006.
