Banks confirms UKIP MP plans
Go Skippy and Brightside founder Arron Banks has confirmed he plans to run as a UKIP candidate to become a member of parliament for the Gloucestershire constituency of Thornley and Yate.
Speaking to Post's sister title Insurance Age, earlier today, Banks said he would run in his local constituency, opposing current Liberal Democrat MP Steven Webb, who has held the seat since 1997
