Biba Fever episode 1: Why Manchester 2014 is Butlins for brokers

With one week to go before the British Insurance Brokers’ Association Conference in Manchester, Post is proud to bring you the first episode of Biba Fever 2014 sponsored by LV.

In this inaugural show, host Jonathan Swift sits down with LV directors Michael Lawrence and Phil Bunker to get their thoughts on how to prepare for the event and the pitfalls and pratfalls that the inexperienced conference goer should avoid.

Insurance Age editor Emmanuel Kenning and Biba CEO Steve White both explain why Manchester Central is akin to Butlins for brokers, and what the holiday makers - sorry, attendees - can expect from the 2014 conference.

To tie in with the return to Manchester after a two year hiatus White is quizzed on his knowledge of Coronation Street characters and Post reporter Katie Marriner talks excitedly about her first vacation - sorry, trip - to a Biba Conference.

Finally, for keen music fans, how many of the Manchester-based music puns can you spot? There are more than 30.

Remember to keep up to date with all the latest Biba Conference news check out #BIBAFever.

And stay tuned next week when there will be three further episodes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
