Aspen ‘operating on all cylinders' in Q1
Aspen Insurance Holdings has reported a net income after tax of $128m (£85.5m) for the three months ended 31 March 2015 alongside a 7.4% increase in gross written premiums.
Aspen's GWP for the first quarter was $919.2m. Its combined operating ratio deteriorated slightly from 87.6% in Q1 2014 to 88.9% for the same period this year.
