Underwriting Service Awards 2010 - rewarding insurance underwriting excellence

Post has launched the all new Underwriting Service Awards, designed to identify, reward and shine a light on the highest performing insurance industry underwriters across a number of different insurance specialisms. The winners will be announced at a special dinner on the evening of 17 November at the Grange City Hotel, London.

These are awards you do not need to, and can't enter - apart from the training category - with the shortlists and winners to be based on the results of independent research with UK insurance brokers conducted by our specialist research arm, Insurance 360.

• Commercial Combined Underwriter of the Year
• Small Package Underwriter of the Year
• Marine & Transport Underwriter of the Year
• Construction & Engineering Underwriter of the Year
• Financial & Professional Underwriter of the Year
• Commercial Property Underwriter of the Year
• Commercial Motor Underwriter of the Year
• General Liability Underwriter of the Year
• High Net Worth Personal Lines Underwriter of the Year
• Underwriting Professional of the Year 2010
• Underwriting Team of the Year 2010
• Underwriter Training Programme of the Year: this award will be judged on the basis of formal submissions from UK general insurance companies and MGA’s.

CII Underwriting Faculty: SSpecial Achievement Award
The winner of this special award will be chosen by the board of the Chartered Insurance Institute Underwriting Faculty and will be awarded to someone the board believes has made a valuable contribution to insurance underwriting.
