Thailand approves class action lawsuits
Thailand's National Legislative Assembly will allow class action legal proceedings for the first time from December.
An amendment to the Civil Procedure Code given royal endorsement on 8 April means Thailand will have similar class action rules to the US.
Rules include the rights of groups of persons to sue over
