Admiral posts reduced profit for first time since float
Admiral Group posted a profit of £357m for 2014, the first fall in profit since its stock market flotation in 2004.
Group profit before tax at £357m was down 4% on 2013, in a year which saw turnover increase 10% to £206m (2013: £188m) and customer numbers rise 10% to £4.05m.
The group combined ratio stood at 88.7%
