FSCS to protect 'most' of Balva's individual and SME policyholders
The Financial Services Compensation Scheme has said it will step in to help policyholders of Latvian insurer Balva.
Balva was operating in the UK under European Directive passporting arrangements but was banned from writing UK business in April 2013 and later entered liquidation.
