Lloyd’s insurer Argo International has appointed Lindsay Taylor as personal accident class underwriter.
Reporting to Andrew Carrier, underwriting director, Mr Taylor joins Argo from CNA Financial where he was previously head of European accident and health operations.
Mr. Taylor was with CNA for four years, joining in 2006 from Chubb where he headed the company’s $130m European accident and health business.
Argo International President and CEO Julian Enoizi said of the appointment: “With over 30 years experience in the industry and proven leadership skills we have full confidence in Lindsay. His wealth of underwriting experience in the accident and health market makes him an excellent choice for this role.”
