Aetna buys Bupa Thailand
US-headquartered global health insurer Aetna has purchased UK health provider Bupa's Thailand operations.
The acquisition, for an undisclosed sum, will increase Aetna’s presence in Asia where it has offices in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Singapore by adding 300,000 members and 400 healthcare providers
