AA index reports 6.1% motor premium decrease

Latest results from the AA British Insurance Premium Index show a 6.1% decrease in annual comprehensive car insurance premiums to £504.59 for the three months ended 30 June.

The average price quoted for a new insurance policy was more than £30 cheaper than the index's previous result. Over the 12 month period, the drop was more than £120 or 19.3%.
