Climate activists have kicked off the new year by warning the insurance sector “your time is up”, and have revealed plans to protest for a “fair and just transition” to secure a liveable planet for all.

The warning comes after protestors pushed for insurers to rule out backing the West Cumbria Coal Mine and the East African Crude Oil Pipeline project. 

Towards the end of last year, activists ramped up
