Aercap protests fail as Russian aircraft claims to be heard together in ‘mega trial’
Five lawsuits in which aircraft leasing companies are collectively seeking more than $4bn for the loss of planes stranded in Russia are to be heard concurrently in one trial, a Commercial Court judge has decided.
Mr Justice Butcher said at a case management conference on March 13 that the cases of Aercap v AIG, Dubai Aerospace Enterprise v Lloyd’s, Falcon v Lloyd’s, Merx v Chubb and KDAC v Chubb would be heard
