Beazley posts 2% drop in gross written premium
Insurer Beazley has reported a 2% drop in gross premium written in the three months to the end of March 2017.
Premium rates on renewal business decreased by 1% over the quarter and premiums fell to $537m (£415m) from $583m (£450m) in the same period a year ago.
Beazley said the rating environment remains
