£650,000 'crash for cash' gang sentenced
A sprawling crash for cash gang has been sentenced for its involvement in a £650,000 scam involving 23 insurers.
All 34 members of the gang, which involved with claims for personal injury, vehicle damage, recovery storage and hire car costs, were sentenced to an unspecified term at Carlisle Crown Court.
