Allianz hails microinsurance success

Allianz Life Indonesia and Allianz Utama Indonesia (Allianz Indonesia) sold a combined total of 347 000 microinsurance policies in 2009.

Joint premium income increased from IDR 1.1bn in 2008 to IDR 9.5bn (£700 000) at the end of last year.

At the annual microinsurance press conference in Jakarta, Allianz Indonesia revealed plans to
