Generali posts 10.5% rise in operating profit
Generali posted a 10.5% increase in group wide operating profit to €4.22bn in 2012.
The result was boosted by improvements in the life segment, which produced an operating result of €2.66bn - 9.7% higher than in the previous year.
The insurer's P&C unit also improved performance as
