UK motor hits 102% COR for 2012: E&Y
The UK motor insurance industry fell just short of breaking even over the course of 2012, but figures from Ernst and Young suggest that profitability may have already peaked.
E&Y reported that combined ratios for the market have fallen from 120% in 2010 to 102% this year, with rates hardening along the way, but said that competitive pricing will likely reverse the trend
