Wreckage of crashed Air Algerie flight found

The wreckage of a crashed Air Algerie flight from Burkina Faso to Algiers was found over Mali yesterday.

The plane was due to land at 5am GMT but authorities lost contact with it 50 minutes into its journey.

The wreckage of flight AH5017 was found south of the Mali town of Gao.
