Aviva offloads east European life insurance units
British insurer Aviva has agreed to sell its east European life insurance businesses to US rival Metlife.
MetLife is to acquire Aviva Czech Life, Aviva Hungary Life and Aviva Romania Life and Pensions, subject to regulatory approval.
The transaction is expected to be completed during 2012. Financial terms
