Thai floods: Insured losses creep up
Global reinsurance broker Aon Benfield has estimated the insured losses from the floods in Thailand could be at least US$4.6bn.
The sum could increase as 3.3m homes and almost 15 000 manufacturing and industrial plants have flooded. Seven of the major industrial sites are said to have a combined insurance coverage between US
