Government set to give go-ahead to draft law reform bill
The government appears to have given the 'green light' to the draft bill on consumer insurance law reform, according to law commissioner David Hertzell. This could take effect as early as next year, he said, which is "two years ahead of when we would have expected it".
Mr Hertzell told Claims Club members that the draft bill, published at the end of 2009, "does look like it will be taken forward by the coalition government". He explained that, with Law Commission
