Career development & CSR news: XL volunteering day a worldwide success
More than 300 London-based staff and a total of 2000 employees worldwide took part in XL Insurance's fifth annual Global Day of Giving at the end of last month.
In excess of 160 projects were planned for this year's event, with 30 different volunteering activities in the UK alone and London hosting the highest number of any city.
These included clearing algae
