Career file: Max Carruthers - Axa's Carruthers heads for ‘semi-retirement'
Max Carruthers will depart his role as Axa Commercial Lines and Personal Intermediary chief operating officer by the end of this year.
Carruthers was responsible for overhauling Axa's operations and IT functions. His role will be discontinued, with responsibilities shared by operations director Jon Mitchell and IT director Ross Burns
