The Co-operative Insurance has become a primary sponsor of Neighbourhood Watch for 2016. The 12-month agreement will see the organisations working together to create stronger relationships within neighbourhoods and promote community safety. In addition, they are calling for new Neighbourhood Watch members and are aiming to set up 30,000 new schemes. The Co-operative Insurance will also distribute new window stickers to members and provide local co-ordinators and members with resources.

Broker First Central has partnered with charity the Girls’ Network, an organisation that empowers young women from less-advantaged communities to overcome unfair barriers they may encounter in work and everyday life.

Through the partnership, female employees from First Central will mentor school students in Robertsbridge, East Sussex.

The mentors will hold 10 one-to-one hour long development sessions designed to build communication and interview skills, help with CV writing and support revision techniques and time management skills.

Price of tower block insurance finally slashed

Insurance premiums for leaseholders waiting for combustible material to be removed from their blocks of flats could plummet by up to two thirds following the launch of the Association of British Insurers’ Fire Safety Reinsurance Scheme today (13 March), according to Axa.
