CFC

Specialist lines underwriting agency, CFC has appointed Patrick Brice to the newly created role of business development director. Hiscox
Hiscox has announced the appointment of James Brady as its new head of media for UK and Ireland. Brady has been with the insurer since 2007 in a number of different roles across the UK business. Having initially worked as an art and private client underwriter, both in Glasgow and London, he went on to specialise in technology, media and telecoms before moving into a senior development underwriter role in Manchester and, most recently, a regional manager role in Maidenhead. Tokio Marine Kiln
Louis Robertson has joined Tokio Marine Kiln’s London office as fine art and specie underwriter. Robertson brings more than a decade of experience in fine art and specie insurance to this newly created role. Most recently he spent four years as a specie underwriter at Watkins Syndicate. Reporting to Peter Merton, Robertson will join the Marine & Enterprise Risk unit where he will be a natural complement to its growing cargo underwriting team, which includes a number of fine art accounts.

Charles Taylor
Charles Taylor Adjusting has expanded its London property, casualty and special risks team with the appointment of Simon Weston as a director. Weston, who previously worked as a regional executive loss adjuster in a

Claims Consortium
Claims Consortium Group has appointed Geoff Ball as non-executive director. Former Cunningham Lindsey director Ball has joined the Somerset-based group to develop opportunities in new areas of property claims management. He was building claims services director at the loss adjuster and previously managing director of their contractor network subsidiary, Oriel Services, during his 22 years with the company. Barnett Waddingham
Barnett Waddingham has grown its insurance consulting team with two new hires. John Hoskin comes on board from Towers Watson, as an associate to advise life insurance companies primarily on unit-linked issues. Audrey van Rensberg joins from AIG, and in her new role will work closely with clients on advising on data and analytics in Barnett Waddingham’s non-life team.
