What’s your favourite quote or motto? Life is full of chances – take them all
If you could be Prime Minister for the day, what change would you instigate and why? I’d change the benefit system to ensure the right people get the right support
What would be your perfect day away from work? A day cycling around the Yorkshire Dales, stopping off in Burnsall to have a rest by the River Wharfe
What animal best describes you and why? A kitten – independent, lovable, but occasionally catching people with my sharp claws
If you could go back in time, when and where would you go? The 1960s – a time of great change and new opportunity
What would your death row meal be? A mixture of Weetabix, Bran Flakes and Corn Flakes – I am renowned for my love of cereals
What is the strangest thing you have ever had to underwrite? That would have to be bull semen when I worked in agricultural insurance
What inanimate object would you save first from a fire and why? My bikes – I have a few, but you can never have too many
Beatles or Stones? Stones
Pizza or Chinese? Chinese
Ski slopes or beach break? Beach
