My best XV Selected by Peter Fice, QBE Europe

rugby-ball-1

With the QBE-sponsored autumn rugby internationals on the horizon, Peter Fice, director of property for QBE Europe, selects his best XV.

1. Roger Palmer (Aon) Chosen for his ability to keep us all amused in the bar

2. Scott Brown (Towergate) Used to dealing in the dark arts, Scott will be effective against any opponent

3. Mark Bishop (Cogent) Tactics he has learnt dealing with Mexican markets will stand him in good stead in the scrums

4. Andrew Chester (Bowring Marsh) Andrew has the height, presence and fearsome reputation needed for this position

5. Tom Davies (Bowring Marsh) Tom has been successful in obtaining ‘lines-out’ of QBE in the past

6. Chris Rider (Price Forbes) A tenacious operator who’s always on hand to achieve great results

7. Matt Grimwade (JLT) His tremendous work ethic will see him badgering away to achieve results

8. Elliot Richardson (RK Harrison) A leader with real presence, he scrapes into my team despite being a ‘gooner’

9. Dave Murphy (Marsh) Dave will duck and dive around the edges and snap at everybody’s heels

10. Chris Tabbitt (Miller) His years of experience will be invaluable in the centre of the field

11. Chris Oatten (XL) Our Gareth Bale lookalike will sparkle on the wing

12. Lee Day (Aon Benfield) Lee’s ball-carrying skills and strength of purpose will see him through

13. Gary Long (RSA) Known as ‘rhino’, Gary can take the knocks and still come back for more

14. Nick Murrell (JLT) On the wing where there is less mud so he doesn’t
get messy

15. Chris Sutton (Aon) Known for his smooth and silky side steps and never drops the ball
