ING pressing ahead on European IPO
Dutch financial giant ING is preparing a case for an initial public offering of its European insurance business, with a target of going to market in 2014.
ING Group chief executive Jan Hommen confirmed the plans alongside an announcement of the firm's first quarter results, which saw group net profits rise from €579m in 2012 to €800m (£676m) this year.
