Lau swaps XL Catlin for Tokio Marine Kiln in Hong Kong
Tokio Marine Kiln has appointed Kin Lau as head of the international insurer's Hong Kong office.
In addition Lau, pictured, will become head of regional liability and will work with liability underwriter Wendy Law, a former colleague at XL Catlin, who joined TMK in May to begin writing liability in Asia.
Lau, who joined this week, was previously head of XL Catlin's Hong Kong office and a senior casualty liability underwriter after joining Catlin in 2007; TMK has 14 staff in Hong Kong.
Meanwhile TMK's head of Asia Neil Wray is returning to London at the beginning of 2017 to take up a new role as head of international business.
XL Catlin replaced Lau's Hong Kong position by promoting aerospace leader James Chambers.
