Livestock on pavements law could hold up driverless car trials
Government lawyers are looking to redraft the Highways Act 1835 to allow the trails of driverless cars to proceed.
The Times has reported that lawyers are trying to redraft the historical rules because a 180 year old clause that prevents horses, donkeys, pigs and cattle from being driven on pavements could hold up
