Montague to head Aviva board from April 2015

Sir Adrian Montague is to take over as non-executive chairman of Aviva after the retirement of John McFarlane in April 2015.

McFarlane is to succeed Sir David Walker as Barclays chairman in April next year.

Montague joined the Aviva board in January 2013 and became senior independent director in May 2013.
